This is the water bottle I use every day.
I keep one at my bedside for evening and night and take the other with me everywhere I go.
I just refill my water this way and say no to plastic cups / bottles.
I love Contigo because of the mechanism that keeps the bottle closed until I am ready to drink from it. That has saved me many times!
Any reusable water bottle will do - but I really love this one.
I recommend stainless steel as it won't leach any chemicals into your water (as opposed to some plastic) and will not break (as glass may).

Another mug I use EVERY DAY! So environmentally friendly to take this with you and have your coffee filled in here instead of using paper / plastic cups.
Even coffee shops will put your coffee in there (and might give you a discount).
The mechanism is closed at baseline and opens only when you press it to drink! That is AMAZING!!! I have dropped my mug on the couch, floor, bed multiple times and... NO SPILL!! I love my Contigo!

REUSABLE STRAWS

We are producing unimaginable amounts of plastic waste which washes into the oceans and endangers, even kills sea life. One easy way if to either not use any straws (I don't use straws) or get stainless steel (or silicone - but I prefer stainless steel) reusable straws.

REUSABLE PRODUCE BAGS
NO MORE PLASTIC BAGS FOR PRODUCE
When we go grocery shopping we bring our own, reusable produce bags. This has not posed any problem in any grocery store and makes an impact in the amount of plastic bags we don't have to use.

CLEANING TOWELS
DITCH THE MICROFIBER
Microfiber towels are so popular and for understandable reasons, HOWEVER, every time you wash a microfiber towel microscopically small fibers wash out into the water - and you guessed it. This gets pushed into the ocean where sea life and fish ingest it. Microfibers act like MAGNETS to toxins (that we also flush into the waters). These microfibers can be found in the flesh of fish AND SCARILY in the body of humans consuming fish - toxins and all included! (This is one reason I do not consume fish and instead use algae oil for omega 3 supplementation).
So, let's try to ditch microfibers to reduce microplastic impact on the environment.
I am still looking for good cleaning towels to use. For now I have these - but if you know something better, please, let me know!

And this is another microplastic we tend to overuse. The same applies as for microfibers:

Most people can live very well without glitter - and until recently I could too. However, my little girl does enjoy her glitter once and again and I like to teach her about the impact her choices have on the environment and animals.
We said no to glitter the last time she got a face painting and I found this biodegradable, vegan, cruelty free glitter on Amazon I bought for her. It is super expensive and certainly not a necessity.

Easy to carry around and almost no leak (if properly closed).
We use these for water only. I do not recommend to give children anything else to drink except for water and unsweetened non-dairy milk. So, having a mug for water only works well for us.

I think investing in a good scale is worth your money, especially, if you could benefit from losing weight.
We use this scale and have used it daily (2 adults) for about 6 years. It is still going strong. I love that I can see the weight in lbs or kg and that it is very precise (can show you a 0.2lb difference).
